Exchange

Policy

This policy applies to performances of Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney.

Tickets may only be exchanged for other performances of Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney.

Exchanges must be made no later than 7 days prior to start of originally ticketed performance (except in the event of illness – see below).

A $10 per ticket fee applies up to a maximum of $30 per exchange transaction. Exchange may be subject to additional fees if the ticket delivery option selected differs from the original.

Exchange fee will be waived within 24 hours of original purchase date.

If you or someone in your group have been directed to stay home by NSW Health, please contact Ticketmaster online (or by calling 1300 558 878 and pressing option 1) as soon as you are aware that you are not able to attend your booked performance and they will do their best to assist you in processing an exchange into a future performance. The deadline to contact Ticketmaster is Midday AEST (for an evening performance) & 10am AEST (for a matinee performance).

You are required to submit a screen shot of your PCR text message confirming Covid-19 positive results or a screen shot showing you have registered your Covid-19 RAT results with the NSW Government via your Service NSW account.

Please note, Ticketmaster call centre operating hours are Mon-Sun 9am-5pm and there are no exchanges or refunds on TodayTix Lottery tickets.

If you booked your tickets and are unable to attend due to travel restrictions around the time of your performance, please contact Ticketmaster online no later than a week before your performance and we will work with you to exchange your tickets for a future performance (subject to availability). If borders shut suddenly within 7 days of your performance, we will also work with you to exchange your tickets for a future performance (subject to availability).

Exchanges are subject to availability at the time of exchange and must be of equal value of the original ticket(s) purchased. If you wish to exchange to a higher-priced ticket(s), you will be asked to pay the difference in ticket price. In those cases, if after following the above processes we are unable to facilitate an exchange for another performance, a refund will be offered.

No exchanges or refunds can be provided after the deadlines listed above or after a performance date unless required by applicable law.

Please note: We can only assist those who purchased their Moulin Rouge! The Musical tickets on Ticketmaster Australia, the authorised ticket seller for the Capitol Theatre in Sydney, or through approved partners. If you purchased tickets through any other avenue, please contact the seller directly to learn more about their refund and exchange policy.

Tickets may be exchanged for any other single performance on sale at time of exchange for the Sydney season, subject to seat availability, blackout dates, sold-out performances and other restrictions. Exchanges may not be made for same performance.

Exchanges will only be made for tickets purchased through the authorised ticket seller for the venue:

  1. For tickets purchased via Ticketmaster, contact Ticketmaster online
  2. For group sales please contact your groups representative. This exchange policy does not apply to tickets purchased through the Ticketmaster Groups Department.
  3. Tickets purchased via 3rd party providers are subject to their exchange policies. Please note that Ticketmaster is the only authorised seller for tickets of Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney, and approved partners.

Exchanges will be valued at original face value of the ticket purchased. Additional payments apply if choosing a performance or seating that costs more than the original or if exchanges are from an originally discounted ticket into a performance with no discounted tickets available.

Guests may receive partial refunds if the face value of the original ticket is higher than the face value of the new ticket. Refunds are not otherwise allowed except as guaranteed under Australian consumer law.

New special offers may not be applied to exchanged tickets.

Exchanges may not be made to reduce the total number of tickets originally purchased.

Upon exchange, original tickets will be voided and will not allow access into the performance. Customers must present newly issued tickets for entry into the performance.

Complimentary tickets and resold tickets are not eligible for exchange.

Other restrictions may apply. Exchange policy may change or be revoked without notice.
