Moulin Rouge! The Musical sees Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film comes to life onstage remixed in a musical mash-up extravaganza. The show makes a long-awaited homecoming to Sydney, where Luhrmann’s film was made at Fox Studios, 21 years ago. The 10-time Tony Award winning musical has already enthralled Sydney audiences since its debut performance at the Capitol Theatre in May. The Sydney Morning Herald called the show “mind-blowing”, the Sunday Telegraph describing Justin Levine’s musical arrangements as “A killer score including 70 of the best pop songs ever written” with Timeout Sydney saying Moulin Rouge! The Musical is “bursting with bangers, belters and bohemians” and City Hub calling it “The biggest event of 2022”

Gavroche in Chippendale presents Temptation, inspired by Moulin Rouge! The Musical, a specially decadent menu inspired by the centre themes of the musical: temptation, decadence, and fantasy. Featuring classic Parisian dishes including escargots de Bourgogne, boeuf bourgignon and crêpes suzette flambées.
